 Friends of the Hilo Public Library
Scholarship

The Friends award a scholarship annually to a Hawaii resident seeking a Master's Degree in Library Science at the University of  Hawaii Manoa.  The scholarship provides financial assistance to a student who is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies or who has been accepted for enrollment in the fall semester.  Special consideration is given to residents of the Big Island and graduates of the University of Hawaii Hilo.  All applications must be received no later than May 31st.  The scholarship is awarded each year towards the end of June.
